Getting this error ftp://ip address/ kindly help me out.able to connect in command linr ftp <ip address>able to view directories and make directories

Some more information would be helpful. Are you trying to access the FTP Server via a web browser, File Explorer, or third party software? I've found that some of the older file transfer protocols don't work as well as they used to so for FTP I generally use a third party program (FileZilla). If you want to use File Explorer you may want to actually map the FTP server as a drive.

Have you tried using "sftp" instead of just "ftp"? I use FileZilla to connect to my web server and I only use "sftp". Works fine for me.

im using through windows explorer.Network sharing is on

I would try Filezilla and see how that works. Also try running the network troubleshooter.
