Google Extension force installation on Edge!

After pressing the (Extensions) Update button and restarting the Edge, this extension was installed automatically! I never use Office or Google Docs, Sheets,... on the web.
Is this a new bug? Google intrusion?
Did anybody have this experience?

Just tried it but wasn't installed. Have 'allow extensions from other stores' off.

Ah yes. I see what you mean. Most of the google store extensions are on the Edge extension pages - or equivalent. I don't use the chrome store extensions.

If you turn on allow extensions from other stores can you remove it from the store then turn off allow extensions ......

Doesn't matter anyway, I don't use Edge, I just keep it accessible only to occasionally confirm it's still a bloated, socialite browser!!! :zany:
