HAS anyone come up with a solution to this issue!

I have a Samsung A15. My phone link started to send my message both to the receiver and back to myself. Also - if the receiver previously had been on a send list with multiple receivers - all of those got a copy of a message even if I sent it to only one person.
If I asend a text to the one person it gets sent as a group message with my own number attached so I also get the message sent back to me....Its driving me crazy!
The PROBLEM IS ONLY WHEN I SEND FRON PHONE LINK on my PC....

The only thing I could find was that some users rolled back to version 1.24112.106.0 and solved the issue...,
that would mean you'd have to disable automatic updates in the Store.

I don't have a solution to that particular Phone Link issue, but I found Phone Link to be plagued by all kinds of issues, and frequently had to reinstall it, and even then, it would not always pair correctly. It was a tremendous source of frustration for me.

I replaced it with MyPhoneExplorer. It is freeware, but I did make a donation. It is SO much more robust and capable than Phone Link.

I have no affiliation with the company/programmer, other than as a very satisfied customer.

I installed and tried Phone Link about a dozen times..., it's just perpetually fraught with problems!
I use a USB cable for transfers and Google Messages for web, all other features are useless.

I am certain you will be happy with the program. It will also do backups and restores. There are lots of features, that work, in the program, unlike Phone Link. I agree with @Edwin: "(Phone Link) . . . is just perpetually fraught with problems!"
