Windows 11 2H42
Were on Windows 11 Enterprise 24H2. Trying to hide Disks and Volumes within System/Storage/Advanced Storage Settings and nothing seems to be working.

1)Have tried adding Hide:DisksAndVolumes to Computer Configuration/AdminTemplates/Control Panel/Settings Page Visibility with no luck. Tried Hide:Storage-DisksAndVolumes with no luck either.

2)Tried appending the above to User Configuration/AdminTemplates/Control Panel/Settings Page Visibility with no luck.
Example: hide:gaming-gamebar;gaming-gamedvr;gaming-gamemode;disksandvolumes and hide:gaming-gamebar;gaming-gamedvr;gaming-gamemode;storage-disksandvolumes with no luck.

Note: The above does hide Gaming from the Settings main page.

Any ideas? I've done extensive Google searches and searches within this site and everything says that this should work.

I am not sure, but this might be possible with Winaero Tweaker:

ms-settings:disksandvolumes
is what launches it. so take out "storage-" on your string value and it should block it

just appy the reg to alter it. push the reg via gpo if you want

Open regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
create (or edit existing) string value SettingsPageVisibility

Code:
hide:pageURI;pageURI

(and so on) to hide certain pages
Close and reopen settings (if you had it open)

One of SettingsPageVisibility's flaws is not all URI requests are obeyed. Some ms-settings: are entirely ignored, and others block the parent section above them (which hides too much).

There really isn't a complete guide of what actually works. Sometimes it's trial & error.
