Solved How do I install this old right click in w11 22h2?


BTW, @bobkn, Those instructions weren't really for you. I know you know your way around your files and the reg. But hundreds/thousands of people use this site daily who don't know this stuff, so I try to make clear what I'm doing. Danbury, eh? I've visited, but a while ago.

I'm not sure about the registry key. I did open the .reg file before using it, to see what it did.

This is how I did it:

DISABLE THE NEW CONTEXT MENU IN FILE EXPLORER

  • Open a Command Prompt
  • Copy and paste the following command:
  • reg add "HKCU\Software\Classes\CLSID\{86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}\InprocServer32" /f /ve
  • ENTER
  • Restart the PC
