How do I move the taskbar?

I've had my taskbar at the top since XP. One of the things I really loved about Win10 was that they made that a setting. Everyone reading this probably already knows that the ability to move the Taskbar has not been included in 11.

Google tells me that there are ways to accomplish this but I figured it was better to ask the forum which is best before I try any of them.

So, you'll most likely have allot more answers but, the one I use is"


It is a paid for program but, only costs $5.00.
There's also Start11 which I have also bought but, didn't like as much as the one posted above.


There are probably more options and other members will chime in and advise on the ones they use and like best.

This may work. I tried it, and it won't stay SET on mine.
But I use TranslucentTB, so that may be affecting things.



For more than one screen...

I just tried the registry edit. As soon as you restart windows explorer the registry entry reverts to 03. Google tells me tyhis used to work but one of the updates this year stopped that.

I'm cheap so I want to do this for free if I can. Besides, if MS stopped the registry edit from working who knows when they'll decide to do something to prevent those apps from working (seems to me it would probably be easier for them to fix the problem themselves, though).

Has anyone tried either of these?

As I see it, we get regular updates on those apps whenever MS updates.
