I had done numerous searches but most people are saying that this is not possible.
This is very annoying.

So there were right, it's impossible to remove it UNLESS you remove it with a third-party application like mentioned above from your post.

Sorry, I would then just leave it as it is.

Correct. On somewhat of a bright side, you can run windhawk as a portable program
