Agreed, the Hp Envy 6000 Series does have that annoying blue tray light. One the the reasons I always read reviews before making a purchase. Perhaps there's a way to disable it in setting, might check the knowledge base for a solution. If all else falls use some black tape.HP Envy 6000
It's wireless, all in one.
The only reason we bought it is because the ink cartridges, that are exactly the same as the ones for our last HP printer except for the sticker on the outside with the number on it, cost half the price.
We normally leave it turned off because there's no way to turn off the annoying rgb lighing in the front and only turn it on momentarily when we want to print or scan something.
I use branded HP ink cartridges, I'm aware you can go into the ink cartridge setting and select 'Disable HP Cartridge protection." But, for myself I don't use that much ink.
