Solved How to disable ALT+SPACE popup?

I play some old DOS games in DosBox and one of these uses the keys ALT and SPACE for jump and fire respectively. I noticed that if I press them together there is some popup window to enter a mathematical expression or other code. How can I disable this key combination? It is rather annoying. Also in other games, if I press the CTRL key (fire) rapidly I see a circle similar to that showing the position of the mouse. Last time I checked, I have this feature turned off in mouse setting in Windows. How can I switch it off once and for all?

It appears that you are describing PowerToys functionality. If so, you can open PowerToys settings and disable these modules.

ALT+SPACE is "PowerToys Run". Double click of CTRL key is "Find My Mouse".

Alternatively, you can assign different keyboard shortcuts for these modules.

Bingo! The ALT+SPACE key combinations was PowerToys Run and also to open Command Palette (to issue commands). The second was what I saw when gaming, the Command Palette which is a new addition to PowerToys, so it hasn't bothered me a couple of months ago. Also the double-pressing CTRL (such as when rapidly pressing fire in another game) reveals the mouse location! Although I had disabled it in Windows Settings, there is a separate setting in PowerToys! I disabled that too, so I think I am good now. I marked the thread Solved. Thanks!
