I agree with these statements. But, don't forget that there are also a lot of useful features ADDED to Windows 11.I think this is an exaggeration - it is hardly crippled, just a few annoying minor features taken away unnecessarily but they do not seriously impact use of OS. If it had forced S Mode on us (say) with no way of getting around it - that would be crippling.
I was annoyed at first but now I do not really notice that much. One great thing about humans is our ability to adapt.
Regarding dumbing down, I agree but I am more annoyed about the lack of serious development these days - it is as if they have run out of ideas (or more likely incapable of imaginative thought).
If you revert back to Win 10 you are essentially also loosing features - the features now present in Win 11 and absent from 10.
For me, it all comes down to this:
Am I willing to adapt to the features that were removed and are the features that were added more compelling than what was removed?
So which feature set, when viewed as a whole, is more important to me? For me, personally, new features in Win 11 are just way too compelling. Going back to 10 would cause me to loose far more than I loose going from 10 to 11. It is not even close for me .
