How to remove write protection of 32 GB usb flash drive?

EDIT: If you really need to script this, let me know. I can do it, just don't want to spend the time if not necessary. After all, how often are you likely to need this? I would submit that it is easier to do this manually.

I run all the commands ony by one. Still unable to copy any file on either partition in usb.

Worth trying with diskpart, but If it doesnt work for yours, then most likely you would need a special formatter for that controller, which is described in my previous post.

No. It only removes a flag on the drive that marks it as read-only. With a WORM drive, you can only physically write to areas of the device once (WORM = Write Once Read Many).

It is our meditation center which has branches abroad also, it is VMRK, (Vishav Manav Ruhani Kendra, the inner light and inner sound technique) The pen drive cost me rupees 450. It has pravachan in the form of video files. The param sant Baljeet Sing Maharaj is our spiritual living master.
I am unable to add some of his photos, audios, so I posted this in this forum. The pen drive has VMRK label on it, please see the image attached herewith.

How about obtaining a standard rewritable flash drive, copy the contents to it, then make any changes on that drive?

As I have already told, I want to add some important letters, documents, photos of our mission to this drive. But copy and paste not working because of write protection.

Copy all files from WORM drive and paste on another drive, is the only solution.
Will the exact copy of such WORM drive be write protected too?

No, you are merely copying files from it to another device. So long as you can read the files on the source drive you should be able to copy them to another device.

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, and 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2.
