How to share usb device over network

Hello!
I need to share a USB device. I have two devices connected to my computer via USB, and I need to share them with someone remotely. Which application can help me achieve this? Additionally, if it's possible to selectively share only one of the devices, that would be great.

Please specify what kind of devices those are. Printers? Scanners? Drives?
Please specify in your profile what computer you are using, what version of Windows 11 it is on (type winver in a run window).
Example: my system has Windows 11 Pro 23H2 22631.3737
And all other specs that may be important to answer your question.

Is that 'someone remotely' someone on te same network or somewhere completely else?

If it’s someone remotely, or even locally, I’d be researching and learning how to setup an FTP connection.

If you need to share from Windows to Windows (you didn't specify in the question), you can try Microsoft remote desktop for redirection of certain types of USB devices (like drives). This is a free method, and you don't need to download anything as it's built into Windows, but it may not work for all USB devices. For other operating systems, you will need to install an application that allows USB sharing. I use FlexiHub: Centralized Access for Remote USB & COM devices which is not free, but it's easy to use and works on many operating systems. Plus, you can block the sharing of specific devices.
