but that is not a solution. No one said what to do.

Not a solution if you don't teach someone how to fix something. You got a busted car, I will just tell you that you can't drive a busted car, how is that a solution?
Post #3 and #4 tells you it can cause problems with Windows. I would have thought that would have been enough for you to know that one of the drives should be disconnected. Then post #6 tells you that one of the drives should be removed. It may not be what you wanted to hear but disconnecting one of the drives is the solution.

If you changed the sig on the cloned disk check you can still boot into it. The bcd entry references both the partition guid and the disk guid.

Can the computer BIOS, disable the drive?
Check your bios to find out.

Absolutely do not have to do that by physical disconnection.
This am I found 2 ways to make it index C.

Use Disk Management, select problem clone drive right click set to offline
Rebuild the index in indexing options,
Notice it is now indexing the C drive.

Other way (I think), is use Device manager, right click cloned drive and disable the drive.
Which I have not tested. Cloned drive then does not appear in Disk Management when you do that.
I also don't know if it can then boot from selecting it as boot drive in the bios.
But this way is easy as does not involve opening up case and yanking to sata cable

I think windows programmers since windows can tell one drive from another even cloned, they can be browsed, ought to fix this issue.
