Is is possible to create a system image of Win11Pro?

I would agree (as much as I still use it) Windows Backup & Restore (Win 7) is close to disappearing. Hence my using Hasleo (Which is free) as a secondary backup system. Hasleo is now my Primary backup method.

Thanks for the tip about Hasleo. I'll have a look.
Hasleo is free, and rivals many of the paid for features in Macrium Reflect. Unlike Reflect Free it is in active support and development. Some are worried that it is Chinese software, but there is no evidence that that should be of any concern.

Glad to hear you are recovering. Yes, Hasleo seems a poplar choice for those who no longer want to use Reflect now it has gone 'subscription-only'.

@antspants Hasleo was a breeze to use (thanks to your tutorial). More intuitive than Macrium. And I loved that it kept me updated on what was going on. Took a peek at the Tools and most of them are out of my league but this is wonderful. With the ability to have it check for errors I also feel more hopeful that I have something that will work.

I really like Hasleo. But having said that, the support in this forum in regards to Macrium, is unprecedented.
However, as much as there is support for Macrium, the old version is now quite old. The new version will cost you a subscription. So there are things to weigh up.

Hasleo, as mentioned, is Free. And for the foreseeable or at least the immediate future, should stay that way. That is until they have a user base that meets their agenda and they start a subscription service like everyone else does. I don’t know when it will happen, but my guess is that one day, it will.

I've never minded paying a fair price and always try to contribute to developers of "free" software that I use. I was an early user of Firefox and a regular donor for years. Been awhile. I pitch in for Wikipedia. Same for Internet Archive though I don't know if they will ever recover. I loved finding out-of-print books there. And years ago Power Toys had some great stuff. Don't recall that there was a possibility of donor support. Anyway, Kudos to Hasleo and @antspants for coming to the rescue!

Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 15 years?
I haven't had a need to check recently but at one point a great deal of their content had been taken down. I'm generally looking for old books or science articles that I cannot find through my library. I don't even think I've noticed that there are movies or music. I heard reporters reference the Wayback Machine. I think that what they are doing is important.

I've noticed that at times, the download speeds have become very slow. I'm downloading a public domain TV show and I'm getting less than 200 KB\s download speeds.

Most big servers (those with millions of customers), have a download bandwidth "cap".
To allow everyone to download at max. speed, would cost them a fortune.

I do understand what your saying but these super slow speeds just started happing recently. I'm guessing that they had to cut back and/or they've had a huge increase of downloaders.

I have no idea how one would watch a downloaded TV show or even what such files are called. Definitely old school-VHS tapes and CDs.

I haven't had a need to check recently but at one point a great deal of their content had been taken down. I'm generally looking for old books or science articles that I cannot find through my library. I don't even think I've noticed that there are movies or music. I heard reporters reference the Wayback Machine. I think that what they are doing is important.
I'm into old movies and TV shows. I have found movies and TV shows on archive.org that I never would have dreamed were available. Between buying DVDs from Amazon, Walmart.com, and a third party sellers of rare movies and tv shows, plus using archive.org I have a very large media library.

@antspants Well, things went from hopeful to hopeless when I tried to use the Hasleo image to set this PC up like my old one. I likely did something wrong as I was having to use my iPhoneSE to view the "restore" directions and it was beyond challenging. And perhaps I erred in trying to enlarge the part of the drive (is it NTFS?) which was much smaller on my old PC. It was simple to do, but maybe not the right thing to do. At any rate, at some point, I believe at the point it was restarting the PC, there was an error saying it had failed and a QR square that was displayed briefly, but not long enough for me to get my phone. The only option was to do a complete reset or one keeping my files. I opted to do the latter. To my surprise the desktop background and name of the computer and user folder had "taken", but that was it.

I've worked all day installing and setting up my programs (tricky as some are almost as old as I am!). I had also gotten nearly all the customization done but one thing was/is still giving me problems. I cannot get FileExplore to look like it did despite utilizing various tutorials so I attempted to edit the registry. That is when I discovered, to my great dismay, that I do not have administrative privileges. There is no user account!!! Without that, the only option is to sign into my MS account and link it, the very thing I absolutely did not want to do. It is why I set the machine up locally to run without a password. I'm beyond distraught.

    …still on a horse.
Macrium Reflect can create an image. Since I would be using this on a new computer, would I do so for all partitions or just for Primary-NTFS which appears to be the size which the Windows imaging process, that keeps failing, required. Thanks.View attachment 124778
As a minimum you need to select the hidden partitions required to boot windows in addition to you main OS partition. Reflect makes this easy by including the option " Create an image of the partitions required to backup and restore Windows" as shown below:

I was Just using the iPhone to try to Read the Instructions for how to use the backup since I obviously could not use my computer at the time. There was no way to enlarge the text.
