KB5033375 keeps corrupting my system!!

Sorry I have not responded sooner, but I've been sick with flu-like symptoms for days now and only now am well enough to sit at the PC.

I will not get to this tonight, but I will give it a try and let you know what happens.

UPDATE: Was able to do this -- with the following results:
- Screen does not go black but keeps the default Win11 wallpaper
- Taskbar is not delayed but comes up right away
- Search still does NOT work

Got anything else I can try before I do the image restore?

UPDATE again: so today, the symptoms have changed slightly to match what they were previously: NOW get black screen right away, icons and taskbar are delayed a long time, but search STILL does not work. And, as @Daemoniski mentions below, the only fix is to restore to an earlier time and block updates;

For info, another victim of the issue here.
The only workaround seems a system restore and turn updates off for the time being.
KB5033375 is the culprit
Black screen
shift restart and went into advanced options and system restore
Tried the remove updates and it worked but then installed them straight away
Seems to be no fix available other than an unwelcome install of Windows again, with no real confidence.
(This is the 2nd issue recently with updates, as had one recently whereby it detected my monitor had a virtual screen, so added a driver and decided to output some windows to that - found issue in Nvidia control panel after the update) - I digress.
My PC is quite new (May 2023), bundle built by SCAN, Raptor Lake and been working fine until this update.

You may be a victim of the update as well but have a totally different issue. It breaks Search for this poster. You get a black screen.

Update: Got fed up with all the issues, so replaced the install with Tiny11 -- and all is OK now. That blocks updates and everything works as it should.
