good news that you have backed up your data. now it might be time to consider a clean install of Windows.

Have a look at Rufus which will enable you to make a custom USB of Windows.

download a clean fresh copy of Windows 11 'International' ISO.

you will need a USB stick of about 8GB or more.
when you open Rufus it will show the USB stick and then browse to the Windows 'International' ISO file that you have downloaded to your drive.

When Rufus starts to make the bootable USB of Windows it will open a window to give you options.
tick them all, every single one and put in a user name that 'you' want to use.

once you are happy with what you have done, click the start button in Rufus.
wait for about 10 minutes and then you will have a Windows Bootable ISO where you can do a clean fresh install of windows that will be in a local account with no direct connection to Microsoft or Microsoft accounts.

you can boot this USB stick from the boot menu to start the install, if you wish.

from there you can build a clean Windows system the way 'you' want it.

any problems start a new thread and someone will give you the help aid and assistance that you may need.
hope this helps and best of luck. Steve ..

Clean install is the way as many have suggested. These directions are as simple as it gets.

You can disable or block almost everything on Windows 11, and there usually is a work around for everything.

When i have severe activation/installtion issues with office, and removal tools/uninstallers dont work, the only way I have been able to overcome that is by contacting MS support (if you want to avoid re-installation of the OS). Sometimes its on the backend and theres nothing you can do, other times its such an obscure problem that they end up being the fastest way regardless…

if you have a valid license they should help you for free

i often suggest 365 to businesses specifically for the ease of getting support when all else fails, however they should still help out with a non sub license
