Since the download of KB 5026446 - my laptop goes black after 5 - 7 seconds - if I move the mouse, what was on the screen comes back fast. Checked the CP Power settings - set for 30 mins with or without it being plugged in - mouse settings are ok? this 72 yr. old time can use some help please. Cheers

I've never faced that issue.

I'd probably first try installing the latest graphics drivers. (Dell calls them video drivers) The latest are the Iris Xe drivers from 8 March, 2023.

I have no idea whether that will help.

Since you suspect the update caused this issue, If it was me, I would uninstall the update (or restore an image made before the update) to narrow it down. It may be a coincidence and not the update at all causing the problem.

And it activates in a few seconds?
