Yes, the symptoms of over-watering can look like wilting. More house-plants get killed by kindness than neglect, apparently.

Well... I made my very first Lasagna.
I made a few boo-boos, but it "looks" edible. It's cooling and "setting" right now.

For the meat I used Sweet Italian Sausage and I used Roasted Garlic Marinara Sauce.
And of course... LOTS of Ricotta cheese. :D



Well, it tastes OK... not a lot like Lasagna, but OK all the same. :-)


Lab results... tastes good, should have used ground beef rather than Sweet Italian Sausage, and a bit more Marinara sauce.
I ate a 3rd of it, and I'm still alive.
It's a bit runny, but Lasagna always is on the first day.
After it sits in the fridge over night, the runny-ness will be gone. :D

My friend and I were fellow 'allotmenters'. I'd always help look after the plants from seed to fruition whenever she was away. Not active on the allotment since my inguinal hernia op but she has brought them round to my place. I hope they will be OK. There are other vegetable seedlings to look after too. Some pea plants are arriving tomorrow. I've got a polytunnel to put them all in.

Good evening Mart. Ah, good. You know what you're doing then.

I had an allotment a long time ago, but my veggie crops are a little more modest these days. Everything has to grow in pots on my patio.

My tomatoes grow in what I like to call my 'greenhouse', but in reality it's a 6' tall 4 tier propagating tent like this one from B&Q. I can fit 3 tomato plants in it, and I planted my kitchen windowsill grown seedlings out in it last weekend. Ailsa Craig, a good heritage variety.

I usually grow garlic in several large pots, but for the first time the exceptionally hard winter killed them all off. My daughter's garlic crop on her allotment survived, but they were in the ground. Rather than waste several pots of my freshly made home-grown compost I've repurposed them to grow some new potatoes.

Feature Update to 23H2 by manually installing the Enablement Package. In-place upgrade to 24H2 using hybrid 23H2/24H2 install media. Also running Insider Beta, Dev, and Canary builds as a native boot .vhdx.

    My SYSTEM THREE is a Dell Latitude 5410, i7-10610U, 32GB RAM, 512GB NVMe ssd, supported device running Windows 11 Pro.

    My SYSTEM FOUR is a 2-in-1 convertible Lenovo Yoga 11e 20DA, Celeron N2930, 8GB RAM, 256GB ssd. Unsupported device: currently running Win10 Pro, plus Win11 Pro RTM and Insider Dev, Beta, and RP 24H2 as native boot vhdx.

    My SYSTEM FIVE is a Dell Latitude 3190 2-in-1, Pentium Silver N5030, 8GB RAM, 512GB NVMe ssd, supported device running Windows 11 Pro, plus the Insider Beta, Dev, Canary, and Release Preview builds as a native boot .vhdx.

    My SYSTEM SIX is a Dell Latitude 5550, Core Ultra 7 165H, 64GB RAM, 1TB NVMe SSD, supported device, Windows 11 Pro 24H2, Hyper-V host machine.
Good morning - A showery day in store. I hope my friend will come back to a load of healthy plants Bree. We grew potatoes in plastic dustbins with holes drilled in the bottom last year. They turned out plentiful and perfect.

A few jobs around the house to do. I'm hoping a couple of power wheelchair caster wheels will arrive from eBay today. Used but hopefully good.

There is another power chair we could have used while the main one is out of action but I made the mistake of letting the batteries go completely flat. They wouldn't charge using the charger provided. Removed them from the chair and used the recon cycle on a Ctek battery charger. One responded but the other hasn't so far, so this chair can't be used while we're sorting out the one with the broken wheel.

Fortunately, we have yet another power chair (it's like a wheelchair showroom in our garage :-) ). A lightweight one that is not so stable as the regular one but my wife is having to use it for going out anyway. Problems problems. :rolleyes:
