    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, and 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2.

Yes, everything went as well as I could hope for. Nothing to worry about, back for the next routine appointment in four month's time.

It was a (far) earlier start to my day than I'd have liked, and it didn't help that I got distracted (again) last night and went to bed (far) later than I had intended. Got about 5 hours sleep (well, I call it sleep, it felt like I was awake for most of it :()

Not done much for the rest of today, just lounged about relaxing. But I did get a rib-eye steak out of the freezer last night, so I have a nice supper to look forward to. 🥩:thumbsup:

I will have my hell day now on the fourth.. i have an appointment at 9:00am.. i usually go to bed between 6 to 7am.. and i know i can not go to sleep when i get home.. so it will be one of those 36hour days.. and as i slept okay a few days ago.. i will most likely get a poor sleep after that 36hour day.. if i go on my sleep history. *LOL*

No, it was good old Windows 10 in fact. Despite rumours to the contrary Microsoft are still adding new features in W10. Late last night MS released the latest optional cumulative update for W10, the one that's supposed to add Copilot to Windows 10.

oh, i dont want copilot..... uninstalling copilot... The AI's response.. locking the keyboard, mouse and calling the Police to report violation of EULA in progress. :oops:
