Yep, I only have the "Americano". I have had Espresso a couple times (Cuban friend), but it's not for me. I like to savor my coffee when I have it. ;)

I like to add a dash of milk to my Espresso (probably regarded as sacrilege by any true-blooded Italians).

Interesting back story to how the Americano was born. From my links earlier....

The tradition of diluting espresso with hot water is said to have originated in Italy during World War II from American soldiers stationed in Italy.

According to coffee scholars, some American soldiers found the Italian espresso too strong and started diluting it with water. Italians named the drink a Caffè Americano.

The soldiers would then popularize the drink back at home after returning. Eventually, the drink slowly became popular.

Evening Marie, glad you got a bit more rest than expected.

It's been a really boring and tiring day for me today. Every year I try to generate an accurate year-end report on my investments. This involves poring over multiple spreadsheets, trying to spot discrepancies and errors of omission, and trying to correct/reconcile them. There's another forum I frequent where we compare notes and discuss investment strategies.

It's mind numbing stuff and I already feel exhausted enough to go to bed and sleep for 12+ hours :lmao:

I am so glad i dont have my business any longer.. back then it was in the end of every month to make tax-reports and stuff..

i wish i culd go to sleep for 12hours.. I will be really happy if i get 9hours.. and i will be happy if i get 8hours straight.. and i will be glad if i get 6hours in a row. :-)
