Indeed, and unusual. I often see them and coyotes, but typically during early hours when it is still dark, or nearing dark.

And yes, I'm sure everyone had their phones out. Hell, that is typical around here, even during normal driving. :mad: ...bastar*s! :ROFLMAO:

Perhaps one that you missed and may like to comment on was that Mike opened the day in Post #5,571 by reporting that he had temps of 12°F this morning and a high of 20°F for the day.

For me it's been a warm and wet day, as I had expected.....

Okay, Mike seem to have similar weather as we having.. Yesterday we had those temperatures.. today is a bit warmer as it started to snow a few hours ago.. only 28F (-2C)

Wet and warm day do not sound fun in December. :cool:

No, it's not. 'Warm' is a relative term, for my December days for at least week ahead it means mid-40's to mid-50's (7°C to 12°C) with rain forecast for most of them. :(

Yes, I miss those. In England our yearning for a White Christmas was reinforced by Charles Dickens and A Christmas Carol. But he wrote that at the tail end of the Little Ice Age, and we're unlikely to see those conditions again for some time ;)

If I'm going to see snow, it's usually around early February....

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, and 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2.

    My SYSTEM THREE is a Dell Latitude 5410, i7-10610U, 32GB RAM, 512GB NVMe ssd, supported device running Windows 11 Pro.

    My SYSTEM FOUR is a 2-in-1 convertible Lenovo Yoga 11e 20DA, Celeron N2930, 8GB RAM, 256GB ssd. Unsupported device: currently running Win10 Pro, plus Win11 Pro RTM and Insider Dev, Beta, and RP 24H2 as native boot vhdx.
