That is great news, buddy. I'm happy for her. I know it's likely been stressful for your wife as well. Hopefully given a bit more time, she will recover as if it never happened.

I had a friend a few years back, whos father suffered the same, and it was horrible for him. Could not speak, and could not feed himself. It took a couple years for him to recover partially. But even at his best, it was still evident that it would be with him for life. Slurred speech, and mobility issues. Very sad situation.
You SIL was a lucky lady, considering.
