I'm finding a backup drive for things is essential, as my woes of yesterday have indicated. I just installed CrystalDiskInfo, which is free as you might know. It provides you a general thumbnail of the health status of your drives. Not a bad tool to have, really. Does Marcrium allow you to restore a backup from a physical boot drive installed in your system? I used to use Acronis backup utility that wouldn't allow you to do that, so I switched to Macrium. Acronis might have allowed for it, and I might have been doing something wrong. All I know is that it was quite frustrating. That's worth asking about if you don't know.

I love the cat carriers. Violet will love her pink carrier, no doubt!

I currently use Aomei for my backups and I can easily restore from my external HDD. I usually just reinstall everything since I don't have enough on my primary to make backups necessary. What I do is store my important files on separate drives

What I want from the M.2 is speed since a faster drive will really help out Photoshop and installing it will be a snap. As for the carrier.. Erin wants purple but the only have a medium in stock for that and the pink is available in large.

I need a large for Phoebe.. she's almost 20 lbs.. big kitty

Of course, now that I keep my program filles on a totally different SSD, I'm going to have to back up that drive as well. My 2TB external SSD isn't large enough to back up four drives because I always have two instances of my primary drive backed up. I'll have to rethink some things. Good thing I have the new m.2 SSD and an enclosure coming tomorrow. (Yep, even though my USB-C issue was mostly resolved, I decided to keep the new one I just purchased. You can never have too many backups, I'm finding out!)
