I order online and do the curbside pickup from Walmart. I don't want to expose myself unnecessarily, especially when so many people around here traipse around without masks. Our local hospitals are jam packed with COVID patients...

I keep telling my wife we need to use Turbo Tax because we don't claim anything, really. Well, we have a lot of charitable deductions now that I think about it. That might complicate things. Also, her family has been using the same accounting firm forever, so she feels obligated to go.

And that's awesome that you already have your return in your account! We're going to purchase a storm door for the back door and get the house painted once we do get our return. Of course, a new 3060 or 3070 video card would be awfully nice!

I have a bill to pay off but by paying it I'll save around 80 a month.. so it's a must to pay off.

That's a good monthly savings. I'd pay off the bill as well. I managed to pay off all our debts a few years ago. We save so much in interest payments it's not funny. And to think, my wife always made fun of me being so frugal! Guess I showed her!

I've been up for about an hour but have been having responding to a fascinating discussion on multitasking and why what dancers do isn't multitasking. Well, that's my contention, at least. I was going to post here first but saw that discussion entry, to which I couldn't resist responding since it was a question/post directed at me.

Yeah - couldn't sleep anymore. It's been very exciting around my house the last few days. My wife was offered a job at an elite aerospace engineering company yesterday provided they can work out how to have her work remotely, which they assure her they can do. We've (well, she, really) been waiting for a call from the person for days. They called last night. She's not even graduated from MIT with her master's in aerospace engineering yet. Her doctorate is in Nursing Practice, so with is a big switch career-wise for her. We're not going to get our hopes up, but it looks good. So, she just fell asleep. I just couldn't sleep anymore because the excitement I feel for her.
