It was always going to be a learning curve making a likes system work in replacement of the reputation system of the old forum software that was all used to; I think on 12F likes will be neutral as I can't think of another way to make the system fairer to those helping rather than those getting points for chit chat and games.

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update.

Admin could be the ones giving points and that would be fair, of course, the admin would have to monitor more posts.LOL

We have enough to do already, and tbh I don't understand a lot of it these days, while specializing in the running of the sites for the last 15 years the Windows support has got away from me.

I understand Windows has become a support nightmare even for Microsoft the forums are a much better source of support.

So, For example, Sometimes il read through threads and see an answer someone else has given that i think is really helpful or useful, But i can't like or commend them for it because i used them elsewhere? So how do i give that person the praise for it? Start a tick list of people i owe likes to?
I read more than 10 threads a day, Like most people on here do, and theres often a lot of great answers in one thread alone.

EDIT: why dont we just reset everyone back to members seen as the goalposts have been changed :)
