I had one in each wing when they did the swine flu one alongside the normal flu jab. I was also due to have a pneumonia jab that year but they ran out of places to jab so I had that the next week.

That sounds just great Bree. Have a great time. The last time that happened with me was my 70th. When my sister was alive she used to organise family get togethers quite frequently. I miss those days.

Yes Keith, it was great. Until my mother passed away the we used to gather at her house on our birthdays. Since then we have tried to have at least one 'gathering of the tribes' each year, usually in the summer months and at a nice pub/restaurant with a function room available. What with lockdown we've not been able to these past couple of years, this was out first one for some time. My how the kids have grown up ;)

Yes, completely stuffed to the gills - and then some. When we had eaten our fill my daughter brought out the biggest and most chocolate covered birthday cake I've ever seen - we all forced ourselves to have a slice.... 🎂:lmao:

As a 'single person household' I could legitimately create a support bubble with my daughter's household, so I could still visit and stay over at Christmas. At least the grandkids still got to see one of their grandparents on a regular basis.
