Good morning Mike. Interesting, a tree fell on the power substation feeding our grid, and we lost power for about 4 hours last night. I have a backup generator, so I could at least have some light and fans going to keep up cool.

Good morning JV , almost the same thing happened to me yesterday, it was tree limbs shorting out my power for about 5 hours.

Of course, your situation was worse than mine. Until firing up the generator, we sat outside in cool weather next to our firepit. We made the best of it. You were likely cold.

No I was fine as I have a big backup generator that can power almost everything in my house. So I was fine. :-)
