    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, and 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2.

The snow froze hard on the car overnight. Had to chip it off this morning. Couldn't get the boot open at all. Should have cleared it yesterday.o_O

I probably didn't need to either but I usually do a top up shop on Tuesday. I decided to give the new Liddle that's opened recently in our local shopping precinct. It looks quite good, and really cheap compared to Morrisons where I normally shop.

These last few months I've had to get into the habit of staying well stocked up. Now that's no longer necessary I'm still doing so. The only 'top up' I needed was a bag of sugar. I have a local shop 100 yards up the road and I braved the snow yesterday to get one.

It's in a little group of shops, along with a church, that were built at the centre of the small 1960's housing estate where I live. Those, and plenty of green open spaces for the kids to play were all in the developer's original plans.

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, and 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2.
