Earlier in the year, we had a mini tornado go up through the back of the village and through the woods, the damage was amazing though. Tornadoes are pretty much unheard of here in the UK. Here is Belle in front of one of the damaged trees. I had to crop the pic to get the size down

It was a very narrow band of damage, just 3 trees but the wind was so strong and it was quite scarey, we didn't know it was a mini tornado until we saw the news later that day

During hurricane season we might get a few. We had one run through downtown a couple of years back. We've been fortunate not to get hit too hard, though. We live closer to the gulf, and hurricanes don't make that swing around Florida from the Atlantic too often. They sometimes form in the Gulf, but they usually end up hitting Panama City, which is south-west of us.
