That's about the temperature I like to keep our house. Unfortunately, I can't. The a/c only goes down to the mid-60s. Oh, and my wife would pummel me until I turned up the a/c.

Interestingly, I saw a little poll on this very topic a couple days ago.

Of the respondents, overwhelmingly, they said 64 degrees was the perfect setting for AC.


Personally, I think that is a little overboard. With an already stressed and aging national grid. Plus, they must not have looked at their energy bill lately!

...inflation bites again! ;)
