Afternoon, folks.

I see most everyone is having a nice cool day . . . except for moi! Forecast on TV said 100° to 101° today through Saturday.

Thankfully I grew up in an era before ACs were a "thing". By the time I was a teenager, we had water coolers. So, I don't have to adjust to higher temps for the most part.

I turn off the AC when I go to bed and don't usually turn it back on until around noonish if that soon. It works for me, but my daughter needs AC. Younger generation is spoiled to AC! :)

Heck yes, I can remember digging a 100 foot trench for a Sat cable in July and it was 99° that day. BUT ....I was in my mid 30's too :-)

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, and 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2.
