@atinfo - Who do I need to follow on X(Twitter) since I never see the bugs people report on Edge.

You are right about CoPilot but I never saw the sidebar opened up by default until 2167.

As per the forum rules, I can't mention any social media account here. I'll send you a DM. Actually, I don't follow most of them, but I occasionally browse through X, Reddit and Instagram. But this one caught my attention! He/She is an Edge enthusiast (you read it MSS=Microsoft Secret Service, to get feedback about new features on social media :woozy: ) and is popular on X and Reddit.

I have never used CoPilot on Edge, so I am not sure if Microsoft has implemented a voice trigger like "Hey Pilot" or if it activates by knocking on the table!

Good point, forgot about that. Just got your DM and sent a reply since I couldn't find the tweets that mentions the crash in the account you mentioned. I have no idea what version it really started showing in since even 120.0.2168.0 crashes so when I open it, it just says restore browser tabs and I click on it to restore and it shows it. Hopefully I can keep it from not opening the sidebar by default.

They removed the Ctrl+Shift+2 shortcut, which I used frequently. I don't like adding the (Split screen) icon on the toolbar, so I relied on this shortcut. They ruined it again!

I've never used Split screen.

As for CoPilot, you are right as that seems to be the default in both Stable and Canary.

I've updated to the latest Stable version and now Edge keeps running in the background even if I'm not using the browser and it's closed. I've always had this option Off, yet now it no longer seems to work. I've also tried a Registry "hack", but that also no longer works. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks.

*UPDATE: OK, seems that Always Turn Off "Continue running background extensions and apps when Microsoft Edge is closed" for All Users under Option Two seems to be working. :thumbsup:
