Latest .NET and Stack package updates breaks TranslucentTB

Applied the new .NET and Stack updates this morning to my Win 11 Pro 22623.870. Rebooted and no TTB. Ran reset on the App, rebooted...No TTB. Uninstalled the app...rebooted, to the Store, reinstalled...rebooted...No TTB. It starts at boot as it should, but non of the settings take hold, just a solid toolbar.

Yup, I am having the same issue, plus all the Icons in the systray are all placed in a willy nilly way.

I removed the last two updates , and pause updates for a week and it is working now.

Glad it worked for you, I was only able to uninstall the .NET update not the Stack and still no TTB for me :cautious:

Update to Windows 11 Build 22623.870 and yo will see that it is broken. I was able to get it to work by removing two updates which sent me back to 22621.870 . You can see below

I was using TranslucentTB but my question lies in, why is there a setting in windows settings for translucency yet nothing is ever translucent?
I dont use modded themes(uxultrathemepatcher stuff etc) or any other modded icons etc. So what purpose is this setting? I have noticed every so often when I click the Windows menu icon on the taskbar it has been translucent for a minute but always goes back to a solid TB, Why? Brand new PC build running updated Win11 Pro public build. I noticed in a recent update translucentTB stopped working as well and just uninstalled it. So currently have solid TB. and I hate it..lol. Sorry this doesnt place an answer here just a scenario of what happened to me recently, which im sure is related to your post.

The last two that were pushed by MS. I then paused updates. One was KB5018341 the other one was the one prior to that one.
