To be honest, if I was forced to use Outlook only, I'd prefer the New! 🤷‍♂️

I've used only Outlook (classic) for many decades, I'm quite used to it and like it a lot. I've never even tried the "new" Outlook as most reports seem to be negative. How easy is it to go back and forth between "classic" and "new"? Hopefully, it isn't a one-way street to try it.

I just set up my new computer a couple of weeks ago. See "My Computers" below. My Microsoft 365 Office subscription installed only Outlook Classic. However, I still get the offer in the upper right-hand corner to "Try the new Outlook OFF". I've never switched it to ON. If I turn it ON, will I simply get a second instance of the new Outlook, and I will then have two versions of Outlook running concurrently?

I just looked at a few of the differences. New Outlook is FREE and will no longer be a part of Microsoft Office. New Outlook no longer supports local PST files. There are no plans to deprecate Outlook Classic. I'm not interested in even trying New Outlook with those differences.

Does either one have a combined Inbox? I can't see using any type of email program without the option of being able to combine email accounts.

Are you sure you're not confusing Outlook Classic with outlook.com, which actually is a web client? They are two different animals.
