Solved LockScreen does not show up on login screen

I have upgraded two of my computers from W10 to W11 22H2. On one of them, I cannot get the chosen lock screen to display on the boot screen like it does automatically on the other computer. The lock screen image is shown in settings, but not on the boot screen.

Suggestions?

Are you still seeing the sign-in screen?

For now, double check using the tutorial below to see if the lock screen may have been disabled, and enable it again if so.

@Brink, I went to that page, and did everything on there. The result is that I still get the image on my lock screen (WIN + L), but when I get to the boot screen, it is now all black with just the clock. I can still login.

Double check below to make sure Show the lock screen background picture on the sign-in screen is still turned on.

Option one was already set, I did the registry in option 3 "enable" and no change. Still Black login screen.

Since this was an upgrade from W10, you could try doing a repair install of Windows 11 below without losing anything to try and fix this.

I don't have any installation media as W11 was installed through windows update.

Thanks for your help. I've never had luck with doing a repair install of any windows version and prefer not to do that.
Any other ideas would be helpful.

As a test, does it show if you select to use a picture on the lock screen?

A picture is what I have already to show. I even changed the picture as a test - no go.

In that case, I'm not sure what else to recommend than a repair install to try and fix it without losing anything.

I fixed it. I changed the lock screen to spotlight, then rebooted. Then I changed it back to my picture, and it's working as it should now.
