Some of my hardware i have is way to old to run any modern software onTo that end I use Belarc Advisor to enumerate computers, both mine and those of my clients. I save the output as a Web page in a specific folder on a drive.

But that solution looks nice for windows based systems.. I have not tested or or read about it.
