Windows 11 Pro Build by Timlab55
Here's another problem I'm having. Have you heard of OVM7? It's where someone has a raspiberry pi and turn it into anything. I happen to make it into my NAS. However, since I had to do a clean install Windows 11 Pro. I can't seem to connect to it. When I try and make a network drive, I get (attachment "Windows Pi". Any help here?

My initial guess is that the Samba in OMV does not support signing, so you'll have to open an administrative PowerShell session on the Windows 11 machine and enter

Powershell: 
Set-SmbClientConfiguration -RequireSecuritySignature $false

Also, if you could connect to it before you re-installed Windows, you probably don't need to do this, but you may need to enable SMBv1 (CIFS) on the Windows machine, but turn off the signing (above) first, and report back.

When I upgraded from Home to Pro I had to also run this command in PowerShell,

Set-SmbClientConfiguration -EnableInsecureGuestLogons $true

not needed, though, if you run Home.

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, and 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2.
