I'm beginning to think that just going to Microcenter and specifying a win11 build then cannibalising some drives and my GPU out of my existing build would be the easiest way to go. Then, as you say, I'd still have a functioning/existing win 10 system for backup or to sell.I am saying, you are just 2 hardware ( a case and a PSU) away from having a new PC so you don't have to throw away a fully functioning CPU, motherboard and RAM sticks. You can sell it as a working Windows 10 PC to recover some cost instead of just wasting a CPU and mobo that nobody would probably buy anymore even if you try to sell it. You can get a Windows 11 key online for like $5 to $10. Just an opinion but you can do as you please.
