Microsoft Chess Titans Resets to 0 games playd

I use Microsoft Chess Tittans which runs on Windows 11, the latest version. The games plays well and I run it in the compatibilty mode for Windows 7. From time to time the game resets to 0 games played and I have to start all over again. I have uninstalled and reintalled the software numerous times. Any suggestions?

I run Chess Titans on W11 and simply placed the program in 'Documents' and pinned the shortcut to the Start Menu. Same for Mahjong. I'm pretty sure I copied mine from my old Vista disk. Nothing to install, they just sit there and run when wanted. All good. No compatibility mode needed or anything like that,

I haven't played Chess, I play Mahjong Titans, but I am pretty sure it remembers which levels I have played.
