So you need to find what else might be synchronizing your history. I urge you to try in a new profile and see if the problem exists, as that will help narrow it down. Do not log into any account to synchronize it (the profile). See if it automatically does it or not.

Thanks, I switched browsers and did a Microsoft Edge reset and not logged in (as stated), it seems good up to now. :-)

Thanks for mentioning this. I reset Edge, and tabs are now reopening on restart. I think it might have been Norton that was doing something.
