Solved MiniTool Partition Wizard Portable?


Negative.
I did try the UEFI mode in Rufus - No good.

Many have tried and many have failed to get a free bootable PW after 9.1. (Or at least I have tried and failed).
As I recall in those attempts there is no ISO in the later versions (nothing made on optical disk), just the bootable stick made from within the paid programming.

There is still Kyhi's Boot Stick.

Here I found this on a CD and used Anyburn to create the ISO.
Then I used RUFUS to put the ISO on a USB stick... and it works. :D

This is Minitools Partition Wizard 11.0 ...bootable media ISO

    Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 13 years?
I think I'm really out of my element here. I've downloaded the "Partitionwizard.exe" ver 12.7 but I have no idea how to get it into a flash drive or other bootable media. There were instructions, on how to get the program onto a Flash Drive, but I was unable to follow them.
However if I just click on the .exe file, it opens and runs. ???

Some years ago, I subscribed to a daily software giveaway and this Mini Tool program was a part of it. I got the ISO, burned it to a CD and have been using it for years. I reconverted it from CD back to an ISO and then burned that to a Flash Drive, and that's how I run it today.
Only because a Flash Drive boots up my PC so much faster than a CD. I use that program where EaseUSPartition Master fails.

You can only make the bootable media on 12.7 from the paid version.
That .exe file for 12.7 is probably the free version installer.

Unless ofc the give-away, gave you the paid version. If it did... install the program and use the program to create the bootable media ISO. Then use RUFUS to "burn" the ISO to a USB stick. Like in post #22



Generally, all these newer programs, allow you (in their paid versions), to create a bootable version of their software, as an ISO.
Once you have the ISO you can either burn it to a CD, or use RUFUS to quasi-burn it to a USB stick.

I just found the Flash Drive that I made years ago. It will not boot up the PC I'm on now, but, it does boot up another little PC that's very similar. It does everything that the Paid version can do, except replicate itself. When the program opens, it opens a little window that tells me it's a FREE Giveaway Version, and of course offers me to UPGrade, for over $50. No Thank You!
Whatever, it's a great program and works great. I dig it out and use it when I need to do something that the free version of EaseUSPartitionMaster won't do.

I regret that I've been of absolutely NO help to you at all tonight.
But, you've been a GREAT BIG help to me!
Out of this evenings endeavors, I've downloaded the free 12.7 version of the program and have it here in a folder on my PC.
I created a shortcut to my desktop, and now I can run the program whenever I need to. And, on the average, that would/will be several times a week. Don't ask me why, but I prefer the Mini Tool program over the EaseUSPartitionMaster program, which I also have installed on this PC.

I expect that it will be very basic for the more simple partitioning tasks, but for me anyway, that is all I'm really looking for with the free version of an application. I'm willing to pay if I'm need to do more advanced tasks.

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, and 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2.
