Just noticed that my wifi option down in the taskbar lower right if I left click on volume/network icon is gone. It was there the other day but not now. Nothing showing in device manager as well for wifi. I'm connected currently via LAN and that is seen within device manager as Realtek Gaming 2.5Gbe Family Controller.Take that back... Just noticed if I select in device manager (show hidden devices) the wifi is listed but grayed out....

Qualcomm Fastconnect 7800 Wifi-7 High band Simultaneous (HBS) Network Adapter

(System is R2 B14NUC7-095US)
Motherboard is an MSI Pro B760-VC-Wifi II

Running latest BIOS 7D98vBA
Windows 11 Home 23H2 22631.3374

Bluetooth works great. Just bought this system less than 1 month ago. Rebooted several times but same results.

Look in this section of Settings for the Notification Area icons [partial list}, they can be turned On or Off if they work:

It may be the Wi-Fi/Wireless has died or maybe been uninstalled and it won't show there.

One diagnostic I use is a USB Dongle that provides 802.11n, ac or ax support plus Bluetooth, replaces built-in adapter. Also have a USB Dongle that provides Wired Ethernet connection.

Update:

Opened the case cleared the CMOS then rebooted PC. Wifi is now showing in device manager and also down in the taskbar if I left click on vol/network.

Not sure as to why it suddenly disappeared.

Cool, it's working.

Just FYI. I recently built some new pcs with MSI motherboards that have built in WiFi and BT. I don't use either on one of the pcs and was concerned about causing damage by not installing the antennae so I contacted MSI support.

They told me WiFi and BT are both in one module. Neither will work without the antennae installed but if I don't use iether, I can safely leave them off.
