I have had a few cases in the last few days of the monitor going black for a few seconds, then recovering.
There are no events in the Event Viewer to indicate any problems and the computer itself remains on without any issues.
I am not sure if this is a Windows 11 24H2 problem, Computer Problem (a 3 month old computer), or it is likely to be a monitor problem.
I did have a similar issue with the same monitor on my old Windows 10 Computer, but there were always Events logged in the event viewer saying that a driver had stopped and was restarted successfully. No such Events logged on Windows 11.
All the drivers are up to date (according to Device Manager).
I guess this is going to be difficult to pinpoint, but wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction.
There seem to be lots of examples of this happening, but no conclusive solutions - other than trying different monitor, changing cable, stabilising power supply, etc etc.
Motherboard is ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI LGA1700 ATX Motherboard (DDR5)
Computer is Intel 14th Gen Core i9 14900 24C/32T 65W 32MB Raptor Lake CPU
Monitor is ASUS ProArt Display PA248QV 24.1" WUXGA Monitor, connected by Display Port.
I have just lowered the refresh rate to 60hz from 75hz to see if that makes a difference.
