New CCleaner released

I installed the 6.03 (Free) normally, but before I ran it the first time, I renamed CCleanerDU.dll to CCleanerDU_BAD.dll in the Program Files directory.

Ran it and it did NOT turn protection on.

As I said earlier, in Free you can go through the motions, but have to pay if you want to actually update anything.....

I'll continue to use the latest one, but with the CCleanerDU.dll deleted to remove the bug. Don't need/want a driver updater. I usually delete the .dll anyway,

Since you have PRO I found that disabling it in group policy stops it from happening.
Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\System Restore
Enable policy for "Turn Off System Restore".
You can then run CCleaner whether they fix the bug or not.

On one of my machines ( Win11) , i get id=1000 and id=10001 ( RestartManager) in my Eventlogs , everytime when CCleaner started.
Any idea , how (?) to get rid of these ( useless ?) info..............??

update; its fixed by latest update !
