I think your laptop sold it's soul to e.e. cummings.
e.e. cummings was known for writing poetry in all lowercase letters

And now wouldn't you know it... While working on a tutorial for my students I had occasion to change a title from lower case to every word capitalized. And now I know what you were talking about.
