New Outlook freezes with high RAM usage

This is interesting. I took a look at my Outlook (I'm still running the older Office 365 version). When I first loaded it the memory usage was on the order of 550MB. Not really that high, but I did notice that the memory usage is all over the place, moving from 50MB to 550MB, and get this with 0 CPU usage. it's showing showing some minor diskusage (0.1MB/s) and 0 network usage. After about 5 minutes the WebView2 Service Worker process suspended and the WebView2 Mail process went into efficiency mode. While in this mode the overall process consumed around 250MB, but it's still all over the place, it never settles down. The largets user is the WebView2 Mail process at 188MB. That seems to be relatively stable. The second largest process user is the WebView2 Manager at about 16MB. Even while in efficiency mode this is one very busy app. The most interesting thing is the memory numbers changing all the time with 0 CPU usage. I'm sure the CPU is working on this but probably the limited granularity of the task manager just isn't showing it. Screenshot.jpg
