Solved New Outlook - how to permanently disable it??

Doubt it as it’s being deprecated and also being removed from Windows automatically. Unless someone else can find a way of keeping the app files on your system I’m afraid you’re stuck. Why not use outlook online or Google Calendar?

I am using Startallback and WIN10 systray calendar flyout with integration to Mail and Calendar app for quickly access to Calendar. I am using Microsoft 365 and classic Outlook, but I am used to using Mail & Calendar for quickly events adding from systray. All I have synchronized with Outlook calendar.

I've never bothered with removing apps native to the OS, but that I don't use. I like you simply leave them alone and use what I like instead... Office (365) Outlook. The installed "Windows" version doesn't get touched.

So yes, the simple answer is just to leave it alone and ignore it. It will only run if you ask it to.

I have tried New Outlook 3 months ago, installed via MS Store, on both Windows 10 and 11 standard latest consumer versions.

Incompatibilities were sent to MS, because it is in Beta, currently no answers back.

A month ago uninstalled on both Windows machines, no problem.

Throughout this Mail & Calendar were used and are still used with 6 Email Accounts, Calendar is synced with one MS Account.

Of course the "Try the new Outlook" slider is still there on both Mail & Calendar. It just stays Off, no problem.

I don't have any system mods.
