New search bar on desktop in Windows 11

Booted up my desktop PC this morning at 6am and a new search bar appeared on the desktop (top right). It was enabled by default, and I've disabled it.

Has anyone noticed it? It is another pointless 'feature', if I want to search for anything I hit the Windows key and start typing.

Microsoft, stop adding all this worthless stuff (aka features) to Edge and Windows 11. Devote your time making your software work better, squash bugs!

It's seem that MS has realized the world is NOT going to accept RECALL in/on their operating system.
So they will spy on you in other ways.

Record everything you search for (post #1).
Record your banking details and payments to whom. This post.
I'm sure there will be other... ways that MS comes up with to spy on us.

After all... DATA is becoming the world's currency. ^^


Ofc, RECALL is the very worst spying method to come from MS to date.
Fortunately, the world immediately saw through their fiendish plot. Muahahahaha. :D

I'm running the Canary Builds on both of my desktops and have Copilot disabled or removed. Forget which one. I got it yesterday on my new desktop but not on my old desktop. I haven't checked the laptops yet.
