Claim benefits for free-to-play games
Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members can now navigate to the More Benefits button on the Game Pass tab to find out what free-to-play game benefits are available and ready to claim.
A new look for Game Bar
Game Bar has received visual updates to its framework and utility widgets to provide a more unified experience across Desktop Mode and Compact Mode.
Drive Compatibility Tool
The Xbox app’s Drive Compatibility Tool was designed to configure external drives attached to your PC so that Xbox games can be installed and played from that drive. This will help when using drives with games on them across multiple PCs or when upgrading a PC from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
Language and Region information in Settings
You can now make sure you have the correct region and language settings by going to Settings > App > Language & Region. This is always a great place to check for accuracy if you notice various mismatching information like game availability, store currency options, etc.
Bug fixes
Resolved a bug where install buttons for third-party games were not functioning properly until the third-party launcher was first installed.
Fixed a bug where the last friend in the friend list was unable to be viewed when navigating with a controller.
Resolved an issue where warning banners were unable to be navigated to on a handheld device using the controller.
Resolved an issue where players were unable to navigate down the list of suggestions in a Search box when using a controller in Compact Mode.
