    When I find it.
Many Nirsoft tools are detected by both Malwarebytes and Windows security. They are not harmful if you download them directly from nirsoft.
They are blocked because malware writers build them into their malware.

@Pnokio - As Porthos noted above, I have everything from NirSoft (and SysInternals, and a couple more devs, courtesy of the KC Software app WSCC) and WIndows Defender and MB get triggered only by 3. But yes, they get triggered because of the ability, should a person choose to use it as such, to access information that is not readily accessible by normal means - like browser stored passwords.

If you're worried about security, then you should probably start taking some course son PC security so you can better understand what entails security, as well as the difference between n un-detected item (like 0-days) and false positives. All of Nir Sofer's (the guy behind NirSoft) are 100% legitimate software that won't automatically, or even accidentally, leak your personal information to anyone. Only you can do that with these tools.

For one thing - your security is at risk if you blindly just trust what the software says instead of actually making an informed decision. The software is only as good as its programming and the rules it is fed. It's never going to be 100% accurate - no security software is.

My nextdoor neighbour has returned from holiday and he has these on his network. Nothing on mine shows on his, so I must be secure.

Then there is not a lot you can do on it. These are devices that are using sharing protocols on his network, that he has not secured, and as long as it is in range of your device, your device will seee them.

You want them gone? Be a nice neighbor and show him / her how to secure their own network so you don't see their things anymore.
